Mr Russ Jeffers has more than 17 years experience working solely as a Consultant Hand Surgeon sub-specialising in the assessment and operative treatment of hand, wrist & elbow problems.

I work privately at The Yorkshire Clinic seeing insured, self pay and also some NHS patients.
My main NHS practice is at Bradford Royal Infirmary where I perform complex reconstructive and trauma operation in addition to those below.

My practice involves the full gamut of adult hand and wrist operations including joint replacement (silastic  and metal on poly finger joints, Touch DM CMCJ replacement for thumb arthritis, DRUJ replacement), nerve release surgeries (carpal & cubital tunnel), tendon procedures (trigger finger & de Quervians), all treatment modalities for dupuytrens contracture (nodulectomy, PNF, mini open fasciectomy, selective fasciectomy & dermofasciectomy with skin graft), arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the wrist, reconstruction of complex deformities from Rheumatoid & Inflammatory arthritis and operative treatment of of complex injuries of the hand, carpus, wrist and elbow.

Further information on the conditions treated can be found here.

The vast majority of operations are performed as day cases under local anaesthetic and block anaesthetic.
