The Yorkshire Clinic
For NHS patients splinting and therapy is free and a standard part of care.

For Private patients you may need to get authorisation from you PMI provider. Most providers authorise 6 sessions, however, you may be charged for splints. 

For Self Pay patients your therapy will be included as part of your package price.

My Jeffers is supported by Julie, Jo, Kirsty and Michael in our Hand Therapy team. You will usually be notified of your first appointment before discharge. You will be seen in our nurse led dressing clinic for dressing reduction before seeing our hand therapists, however for simpler procedures they may actual undertaking the dressing change.

Whilst we are happy for you to self refer to a independent therapist out-with The Yorkshire Clinic, please note that we cannot guarantee that they possess the correct level of expertise or skill to give you the bests outcomes.

Therapy can occur as a one on one with your therapist or as a group session. The group session also patients to not only receive their rehabilitation but also get valuable advice and support from patients going through a similar process.

Mr Jeffers is more than happy to discuss your rehabilitation needs pre-operatively and routinely does so when he consents you for your operation.
