The Yorkshire Clinic

Immediately following your operation the inpatient team of physiotherapists will have received communication from Mr Jeffers regarding your operation and requirments for post-operative therapy.

You will usually be review in the outpatient department post-operatively between 4 days and 2 weeks dependent on your case.

At that stage your dressing will be reduced to the minimum, with commencement of rehabilitation and if required fabrication of a splint.

Therapy can occur as a one on one with your therapist or as a group session. The group session also patients to not only receive their rehabilitation but also get valuable advice and support from patients going through a similar process.

Mr Jeffers is more than happy to discuss your rehabilitation needs pre-operatively and routinely does so when he consents you for your operation.
